About Us
Merseyside Prepared is the website of Merseyside Resilience Forum, a collaboration of multi agency services/partners
working
together to prepare for emergencies on Merseyside.
Our Aim
The Merseyside Resilience Forum aims to ensure that Merseyside has a high
level of preparedness to enable effective response to recovery from any emergency.
We bring together your local emergency services, the National Health Service and
local authorities, plus other agencies who can help to prepare and respond to
relevant events.
The Civil Contingencies Act 2004 identifies primary (Category 1) and co-operating
(Category 2) responders who must share information and resources, and respond
together to an incident.
The following agencies are members of the Merseyside Resilience Forum:
