About Us

Merseyside Prepared is the website of Merseyside Resilience Forum, a collaboration of multi agency services/partners working together  to prepare for emergencies on Merseyside.

Our Aim

The Merseyside Resilience Forum aims to ensure that Merseyside has a high level of preparedness to enable effective response to recovery from any emergency. We bring together your local emergency services, the National Health Service and local authorities, plus other agencies who can help to prepare and respond to relevant events.

The Civil Contingencies Act 2004 identifies primary (Category 1) and co-operating (Category 2) responders who must share information and resources, and respond together to an incident.

The following agencies are members of the Merseyside Resilience Forum:

Category 1 Responder

Category 2 Responder
