'September is Preparedness Month' focused on enhancing personal development and collective resilience through emergency planning when daily, themed all-hazard information, including resources, links, and activities are shared via social media to promote preparedness.

Merseyside Resilience Forum has supported the campaign since its inception in 2015 and once again we have supported the 2026 campaign by sharing information on our website and via our X and Instagram social media channels.

We hope you engaged and benefited from the 30 community resilience topics that we shared which provided information and tips on how to improve personal preparedness to help keep you, your family and communities safe.

We would like to say ’Thank You’ for your engagement, whether you completed our daily challenges or liked/shared our posts to help spread the word, we are incredibly grateful for your support.

Any feedback on the campaign can be submitted via our Contact tab at the top of this page, we would be interested to hear about any lessons learned or your observations on our input throughout the campaign.

Please join us again during September 2027 when we will aim for the campaign to be even bigger and better.

You can continue to support the campaign by completing the online survey:

Emergencies: How prepared are you? – Fill in form

The survey will run until 31 October 2026.
