  • Refer to the Merseyside Community Risk Register to learn more about the potential emergencies that could happen where you work.
  • Think about what can be done to lessen the risk, for example use more than one supplier, choose secure passwords.
  • Produce and maintain a Business Continuity Plan.
  • Train and test your staff in activating your continuity plan and the roles and procedures within it. 
  • Undertake regular reviews and keep your plan up-to-date.
  • Make sure you have suitable business insurance.
