• Activate your Business Continuity Plan and begin a log of events, decisions and actions taken.
• Take photographs and videos as evidence of loss or damage with your insurers.
• Keep people informed of the situation, think about what staff, customers and your suppliers may need to know and speak to people that may be able to help (ie. other local businesses and your Local Authority).
• Consider if any business activities can continue or be put on hold until a later date.
