Flu Vaccination Programme 2026

This includes:

  • people aged 65 and over

  • adults with certain long-term health conditions

  • care home residents

  • carers

  • close contacts of people who are immunocompromised

  • people experiencing homelessness (people rough sleeping and those using homeless hostels or night-shelters)

  • frontline health and social care workers.

The flu vaccination programme has already commenced, with rollout from 1 September for pregnant women, two and three-year-olds and school-aged children.

People can book an appointment via the NHS App, online at nhs.uk/bookflu, visit your local pharmacy or by calling 119 or via your GP surgery.
